The first robins of spring have returned to Oregon, singing the start of each day, and my first art show of 2023 is hosted by the New Zone Gallery on 11th and Oak in Eugene. ‘Waiting for Rain’ is what I call a Human Directed Artificial Intelligence Text to Image piece featuring a field of California poppies with atmospheric perspective leading eyes toward a distant rain shower. The New Zone First Friday event was packed, a welcome change from the Covid Pandemic shows where I started. ‘Waiting for Rain’ will be on display there until the last week of March, it’s located on the far left gallery wall.
